You may not taste it but hot water running through plastic or silicone hoses is full of unhealthy body damaging chemical particles. We have gotten rid of both of our Keurig coffee makers and are only using all glass or stainless steel coffee makers. Do some research on what plastic does to our bodies it's awful and should be avoided at all costs,, good luck to all.

If the cuisinart was a multistream brewer I'd have bought it in a heartbeat.

Yours is the best video I've seen so far to really solve the problem. I always thought that the top part that holds the coffee needed to be cleaned but I'd never seen anyone show how to take it apart. Sure enough one of the holes WAS clogged. I descaled it and cleaned all the parts thoroughly, so I'm expecting a superior cup of coffee in the morning. There were so many grounds in my coffee yesterday morning that I just didn't drink any. I was a mess all day! It's the only caffeine drink. Thanks so much!

Sorry but this is not very good espresso. Nespresso is possibly the worst system out there. Sure it's easy to use and it's marketed as a premium item but you're limited to about 20-30% of the flavor compared to the real coffee making process. This is good for folks who want to pretend to be a baristas. If you're European or into third wave coffee or specific about your morning cup of joe avoid Nespresso at all cost.

I think you missed one important test/comparison. I almost always make hot drinks for two or more people. In my experience, the Keurig has a delay after finishing a cup as it has to heat the water before it is ready for the next one. I think Cuisinart heats the water on the go so there is minimal delay between cups. If I'm making tea, soup, or hot chocolate (without a K-cup) then I use the water button on max size and can switch cups as each one fills.

For me it's the K Supreme Plus that has this plastic flavor problem. No other Keurig machine has ever smelled like plastic to me. The inside of the water reservoir smells strongly of plastic, and when you lift up the thing to put a kcup in, that whole apparatus also smells strongly of plastic. And when you brew a cup of coffee, that same awful plastic flavor overwhelms the coffee. There's just something wrong with this model. Not sure what they did wrong. Everything else about the machine is great! But I want my coffee to taste like coffee, not plastic. But my husband couldn't smell or taste it, so it's only certain people who can. So I went and bought a different one, and that one smells and tastes fine.

For those who couldn't get rid of the plastic smell no matter what they tried, check @slick9892 comment .. his solution worked for me (expose the rubber pipe to air + few cycles of water) .. i added a cycle with alcohol and a cycle with baking soda for my part.. and the awfull taste is gone !

Cocoa powder doesn't just mix into coffee. It has to be blended or melted.

That looks more like a cortado than a cappuccino.That tall glass should be fill to the top for a cappuccino.

I have the B70 model. Got it in 2013. I dont have the stck filter. And just last week I noticed my coffee tastes like mold. Its not the coffee, its from the water as I next brewed only the water. Where is the filter in this machine?

So we can only brew if we have the Tossimos disks? The same brand as the machine?

I think that’s the wrong way to do it. Just leave the pod in and hold the right button until the machine stops. That way you don’t waste whatever is left in the pod.

i kept getting a fixing a b70 keurig...now the pumps are going bad an no new parts for them...got a new cuisninart coming the b70s are going in the trash

Thanks, followed all the trouble shooting. My Keurig was only dispensing a few drops of water when I tried to make coffee. I banged on the top in a few places and it worked immediately. Problem fixed, full cup of coffee!! Thank you! 😂 I also have always descaled my machine once a month with vinegar and clean and wash all the parts so was wondering why my Keurig would not release water. It is 15 years old and still works like new now. We use it everyday , up to 6 servings a day!

We don't use tap water in our coffee pot we use spring water
